oranges and lemons

Having been part of many retail ventures, I appreciate a good one when I see it. Oranges and Lemons is an adorable local baby and children’s boutique, where I do much of my shopping! Located in Greenville, DE…they just celebrated their grand re-opening in their new space. The cheerful pint-sized space is packed and stacked with goodies for your little ones, including some of my favorite brands such as Bugaboo and Heather Moore Jewelry. Added to that is their generous selection of books, clothing and toys…I dare you to leave without something fabulous! Stop by the new space when you can, and in the meantime you can find them on Facebook and Twitter!

I cannot contain my excitement over this new child-size french empire round table! Restoration Hardware continues to amaze me, and the Baby & Child line just keeps getting better and better. The holiday gifts have also just been announced, and I will have to write about those separately…this table just deserves it’s own space. Swoon!

cuteness overload

Ok, so this is one of those things that you would most likely not buy yourself, but you would love to receive as a gift. I cannot get over the cuteness…custom monogrammed moccasins by Little Cupcakes Company. Who says there is not enough cute boy stuff?!

rikshaw design

I remember the first time I learned of Rikshaw Design…I was running a baby/kids store in Charlotte, NC and fell in love with the line. At that time it was purely crib bedding sets & accessories, and it has been exciting to watch the line grow and see the success of designer Catherine Fitzsimmons. The children’s clothing is my latest obsession!

jacadi

On our last trip to Paris we made a special trip to Jacadi, one of my favorite baby stores. Of course they have US stores, but why not go to the source when possible?! I love their clothing, but I find their nursery decor is quite charming as well. We fell in love with a few peluches (stuffed animals) and made room for them in our luggage. I’ve been collecting and saving baby items for years as I come across unique items!

timbuktu

I discovered this kids magazine via Design Mom…I couldn’t help but get it. Timbuktu is the very first publication for children made specifically  for the iPad…how clever!
