I am always on the hunt for new takes on traditions, and this is perfect for the upcoming Easter holiday! Paloma’s Nest has once again created a handmade heirloom, one which your children can enjoy for years. Crafted beautifully and personalized with your child’s name…check out all the details on their site. J’adore!
Having been part of many retail ventures, I appreciate a good one when I see it. Oranges and Lemons is an adorable local baby and children’s boutique, where I do much of my shopping! Located in Greenville, DE…they just celebrated their grand re-opening in their new space. The cheerful pint-sized space is packed and stacked with goodies for your little ones, including some of my favorite brands such as Bugaboo and Heather Moore Jewelry. Added to that is their generous selection of books, clothing and toys…I dare you to leave without something fabulous! Stop by the new space when you can, and in the meantime you can find them on Facebook and Twitter!
I have admired the unique designs of Lulu DK for some time now, and was one of the first to sell her baby line for Matouk. Needless to say when I heard of her upcoming collaboration with Schumacher, I was very excited! She will soon be debuting her child focused collection, which is full color and whimsy, and gives classics a hearty boost.
Being an interior designer, I have a tendency to focus on decor. However, I have recently fallen into the dangerous habit of looking at baby clothes, and have gotten lost in all the cuteness. Many of you may also get the Mini Boden catalog, and if so, I’m sure you can agree with me that they know cute. I was happy to learn that Nordstrom is the exclusive U.S. retailer for the baby/kids line…I shop there often. I love both boy and girl clothes, but have always been drawn more to boy clothes. I can’t resist a tiny sweater or mini loafers…I don’t agree with those who claim baby boy options are not as cute! What are your favorite baby clothing lines…do tell!
Have you nominated your favorite brands for The Cribsie Awards? Support your top products and businesses with a nomination! Is Nesting the best online destination for baby & child interiors? If you think so, please tell them…your support is much appreciated! Finalists will be announced and voting begins February 21st.
I am totally in love with these handmade animals by Walnut Animal Society! I meant to share them with you sooner, but you can still order today for Friday delivery. They are so unique, and the clothes are changeable! Henry the Fox is my personal favorite.
Do you make gingerbread houses with your children? It was a Christmas tradition every year for my family, and after the oohs and ahhs had been had, the kids got to destroy it! They can be very elaborate, or very simple…these are from the Martha Stewart website, follow the link to see how they are made. Happy candy house making!
